INTERNATIONAL LAW ALUMNI NETWORK
Over five hundred Case School of Law alumni list international or comparative law as their field of practice. Making their homes in more than 50 countries around the globe, many work at foreign law firms, overseas branches of U.S. law firms, and multinational corporations. Several work in the U.S. Department of State, the Agency for International Development, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Justice, the Department of Defense, the Judge Advocate General Corps, the Customs Service, the International Trade Commission, the Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Others work for the U.N., International Criminal Tribunals, the World Bank, and other international organizations. School of Law alumni also include international law professors at the U.S. Air Force Academy, the University of Idaho College of Law, Penn State College of Law, and Temple University School of Law. Together with the international law faculty and Career Services Office, our alumni mentor and help students
launch careers in international law.

“Case definitely prepared me for a challenging career in international law. The international law seminars, labs, and clinics were outstanding, and the professors have so many contacts in the field. I went from law school to a Cox Center-funded postgraduate internship with the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda in The Hague, followed by a position as legal officer to Chambers and to the President of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha. I am currently an international trade attorney at a major D.C. law firm.”
